Here's what I'm wondering: How many of us drawn to the Cybertruck would have already been looking at either 1) a truck and/or 2) electric vehicle?

I have a hunch many of us were drawn in by the Cybertruck's tremendous appeal, even if we did not set-out to buy an electric truck from the start.

I've never owned an EV, but I was on the way to owning my first. My wife and I were getting closer to buying a Model 3 when we first heard about the Cybertruck. We weren't really looking at trucks. But this Cybertruck has just excited me.

We've had a Model 3 for two years now (a "first-production" version) and have not kept another car. We have never had a pickup truck. We'll keep the Model 3 along with the Cybertruck and don't expect to buy another car after that for 20 yrs.

I was always waiting for an electric truck. Just doing art, hauling wood and stone, and cleaning around the yard I end up hauling rubbish often. We looked at a Model 3 but I always thought of that for my wife because I really need a truck. I drive a truck with an identity crisis right now...Honda Ridgeline, but I gotta admit it is well designed. I feel the CT will be better designed and save myself gas costs. A plus is the 220v plug in the CT, hope to run my Miller Dynasty TIG from the truck occasionally. CT for sure, getting rid of the Ridgeline.

I drive a Model 3 and love it. Been a Tesla fan for years. I paid my $100 on Day 2 so I wouldn't have to stand in line too long. I also drive a 20-year old Chevy S-10 and have owned other pick-up trucks in the past. I want the CYBRTRK for the cool factor. More than that, it's just going to be a better buy with better specs than the three look-a-likes from the Big Three. On another topic, I hope the government of Texas will cut their ties with the stealerships, thus making the State more attractive for GigaTexas.

Sputter here...I lived in Hawaii for 18-years and your name sure looks Hawaiian. Lots of pickups in Hawaii, yes?
