Tesla finally unveiled its first-ever all-electric pickup truck right after the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show. The official prices for the polarizing vehicle will range between $39,900 and $69,900, according to Tesla. Plus, you can book one right now with a $100 refundable deposit.
Built from space-grade steel, the company said that if there were a better material available, it would use it. The truck is supposed to start delivery in 2021 and will initially be available in three configurations. The single motor setup will feature rear-wheel drive only and have a range of 250 miles. The dual-motor setup will boast of a range of over 300 miles while the top of the line tri-motor setup will be available with AWD and boast of a range of 500 miles.
Tesla also claims the Cybertruck will have a commendable hauling capacity of 14,000 lb for the tri-motor setup and a supercar-shaming 0-60 mph time of 2.9 seconds.
Tesla Cybertruck Pricing
According to company head Elon Musk, the Cybertruck will be available in three variations. The single-motor setup will start from $39,900, the dual-motor setup will set you back by $49,900 while the top of the line tri-motor setup will start from $69,900. The Cybertruck will also come with a full self-driving package, which will cost $7000 extra.

Since it’s a Tesla, you can be rest assured that it will be drowning you in cutting edge tech. That also means you will definitely get a massive 17-inch touchscreen interface that houses all the infotainment and vehicle controls. Tesla doesn’t say whether it will be offered as standard or not, but it does however state that the autopilot system and the adaptive air suspension system will be offered as standard equipment. A supposedly full self-driving feature will also be available.
The rear bed will be good for housing over 100 cubic feet of luggage and will come with a retractable cover for added security. The Cybertruck boasts of a humongous lugging capability as well. The single-motor truck will be able to tow over 7,500 lb with ease while the figure for the dual-motor stands at 10,000 lb and for the tri-motor is 14,000 lb.
