The Cybertruck is an ICON in the making

Some of the most iconic vehicles in history, cars like the VW Beetle, Ford Model T, Fiat Cinquecento, became famous because they introduced a new concept of personal mobility for masses of people, a change from the past. Their designs were also instantly recognizable, which only helped their ascent to the status of icon. We are in the early days, but it's already clear that the Cybertruck is changing people's perceptions of how a vehicle should look, how it should be built, the materials it should use, the fuel it should use, and so much more. The Cybertruck is a striking departure from nearly every other vehicle on the road today, and it's the start of a monumental shift among pickup trucks, the most popular form of personal transport in North America, with a very unique shape that is almost destined to become a future icon. If sales perform as well as expected, the Cybertruck's influence over the industry is going to become the paradigm every other truck maker must follow. And the Cybertruck will have started it all. We are witnessing a great beginning!

It's possible that the Cybertruck could reach that status. But we need to see if they can actually mass produce this design for customers. It's still possible that the production version could go through a lot of changes.

People doubted Tesla could mass produce the Model S. They expressed the same doubts about the Model X. Then the Model 3. And Tesla proved them wrong each time.

The Cybertruck is coming. And the legacy outdated carmakers are shaking in their boots because the Cybertruck is a revolution.

Minor changes will happen, not a big deal, such as the increased width Musk announced this week. That won't change the impact the Cybertruck has on the industry.

It's going to shake things up that's for sure. It'll take some massive for the Cybertruck to not be a success.
