Why no Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?

Before I decided to focus on the Cybertruck, I was looking at all sorts of vehicles, and one of the features I was looking for is whether the vehicle supported Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Most new vehicles support it now.

I'm kind of perplexed why Tesla is holding out on no Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Does Tesla just not want to share data?

Will I not even miss CarPlay/Android Auto once I use the Tesla system? If you have experience with the Tesla interface, please enlighten me on your experience.

I think it is part that Tesla wants to keep their data to themselves. I think it's part Tesla wanting people to use their software and not wanting to work with Apple and Android.
